Christabel Nsiah-Buadi is an executive strategist, host, and creator who works at the intersection of editorial strategy and education. She has reported on, hosted, and produced news stories in the US, UK, and Ghana. Her work includes coverage of the Gulf Coast recovery after Hurricane Katrina and Live8, as well as reporting on the death of Nelson Mandela. She has also built shows from the ground up for several media organizations.
Christabel was a driving force behind Spotify's podcaster development initiatives. She developed and executed strategies to help creators grow their audiences on the platform and spearheaded groundbreaking programs like the Sound Up: Behind the Mic production fellowship and the Narrative Shift mentorship initiative.
Christabel has developed and presented journalism and podcasting curricula at universities including Howard, Spelman, and the University of Pennsylvania. As an award-winning radio journalist and Executive Producer, she created shows for NPR and American Public Media, targeting younger, diverse audiences.
